What is included in our wedding rental at Weymouth Hill?

Can I choose my own vendors?

Absolutely! It’s your wedding and should include your choices from your great grandmother’s famous recipe wedding cake to street tacos from a food truck.

What if it rains?

For peace of mind, we offer the rental of a 30X50 tent to provide cover for your outdoor ceremony or reception. If rain looks likely you have up to 2-days before your event to request tent set up. If a random pop-up storm should threaten your ceremony, we are most flexible with a rain delay or arranging guests to take cover under our multiple porch areas.

Is Weymouth Hill Climate Controlled?

We wouldn’t have it any other way. All three buildings have central heating and air. In cooler weather, the cabin boasts two cozy fireplaces and the English Cottage one. In the warmer season, we provide fan mounts in various outdoor locations to keep guests comfortable.

Can I have my pet at my wedding?

Why not? As animal lovers, we know pets can be a part of the family.

How do we book and pay?

After selecting a package and date, clients will review and sign a contract and pay 50% of the rental fee to hold the date. The date is not considered booked until payment is received and contract signed.

The remaining 50% balance is broken up into two payments. The first is 6 months prior to the wedding with the final payment due 60 days prior to your event.

We accept all major credit cards and checks.

Who cleans up after the wedding?

Your caterer is responsible for the kitchen and all the food and beverage service cleanup as well as related trash. You have one hour post reception to load all décor and belongings as our staff will be on standby to help load. Weymouth Hill comes in behind and stows all the tables and chairs and has professional cleaning crew come in to do a final cleaning.

How many people can Weymouth Hill accommodate?

Weymouth Hill can accommodate up to 150 guests. The beauty of WH is its cozy spaces will never have the “big empty” feel of a large hall if you should decide to scale down your guest list. It has comfortably entertained for events from 20 to 150.

When can we set up?

If your package is the weekender, you have access the Friday before between 2 to 6 p.m. If your package is a day package, you have access the morning of. Early storage and drop off is not guaranteed, but possible if we do not have a scheduled event the evening before.

What is your alcohol policy?

A professional bartender or caterer with liquor license is preferred. If a professional bartender is used, liquor is permitted in mixed drinks. If the couple opts for BYOB, only beer and wine are permitted and must be served by a SIPS certified bartender, which Weymouth Hill has on staff.

Does Weymouth Hill offer tours?

Absolutely. Seeing it in person is truly the best option. Currently, as a new venue and not fully booked yet, we are very flexible with tours throughout the week and on weekends. Just give us a call and we will work around your schedule and our events.

Do we get a walkthrough or have other opportunities to see the property before our event?

When you become a Weymouth Hill couple, you become a part of the Weymouth Hill family. We host open houses where booked couples can come back for relooks throughout the year. We will also schedule a final walkthrough up to two weeks before your event.
