But worlds away from anywhere…..
This venue happened by circumstance, but has been three years in the making going from conceptual dream to a custom-crafted space creating a one-of-a-kind venue. Think boutique venue as we offer an intimate setting and personalized service for up to 150 guests.
Our professionally designed outdoor space lends itself to a number of vignettes for guests to mingle the grounds with ample photographic opportunities. The two-acre complex houses three unique structures. The nearly 100-year-old cabin is an indoor option for ceremony or reception and cozy anytime of the year with its dual sandstone fireplaces outfitted with massive gas logs. The cedar cabana houses the men’s and women’s restrooms, groom’s room and the caterer’s prep kitchen. The English Cottage is a space in itself offering gracious more intimate entertaining space, but also houses the bridal suite with a private bath complete with a claw foot tub.
The name Weymouth Hill
Weymouth is an English family name belonging to our late mother/mother-in-law Joan Weymouth Slagel. Joan was known for her elegance and love of social graces. She also loved the land surrounding Weymouth Hill and had dreamt of building on it one day. As tribute to her and keeping with our English charm, there could not be a more perfect name.
Bookings include use of all spaces, a Friday/Saturday option, tables and chairs, parking attendants and staff to make sure your day runs smoothly. Weymouth Hill is reserving its bookings to no more than two events per week to allow time and attention to its clients and care of its grounds.
